Elks Head near Whitfield
The Elk’s Head, near Whitfield in Northumberland is a lovely riverside stop. Ideal for a pint and something to eat.
The food is excellent value for money is delivered in generous portions by friendly efficient staff.
If you’re lucky enough to visit when the sun is out, the large decking provides a relaxing space on the banks of the river, whilst the large grounds within which the pub sits, provide ample space for children to run around without causing annoyance to others.
